Where neighbors connect and community thrives

A tradition since 1956.

Founded by twenty family members, the Brookside Civic Association is a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) of area resident volunteers. The BCA is dedicated to fostering a vibrant, connected community by organizing engaging events and activities that bring neighbors together. Through our efforts, we aim to promote a sense of belonging, unity and pride among all members of our community. The BCA consists of resident volunteer trustees and a board of officers. There are multiple committees that focus on particular interests.

Dues fuel community

Through membership dues, the BCA is able to fund entrance maintenance and lighting, insurance costs and family-fun events including the Spring Fling, an annual block party, holiday  sleigh ride, holiday decorating contest, and an annual scholarship awarded to a resident graduating high school senior. See our Event Page for upcoming events!

Monthly meetings

BCA meetings are held monthly. Please check the Events page, the neighborhood letter board (Snouffer entrance) or our social media (Instagram: @brooksidecivic and Facebook group). Your ideas, suggestions, concerns, and participation are appreciated and needed to continue the BCA’s endeavors to maintain and improve our community. Please join us in supporting this beautiful neighborhood!
